We had the good fortune of connecting with Leah Avigdori and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leah, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Growth and expansion can only happen by taking risks and pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. A year ago, I was presented with the incredible opportunity to take over a beautiful bungalow in Beverly Hills. While it was an incredible offer and a dreamy location, I immediately said no facing the reality that I didn’t have the funds to renovate or manage the costs. But I moved forward with certainty and just when I thought I was about to step off into the edge of failure, the universe came through exactly when I needed it most. It was a miracle. I can’t give a formula on how to trust, you just have to do it. Fear might be there, but if you keep pushing, if you keep moving, you’ll find that the edge is just a place of transformation. Believe in yourself and your dream, let go and allow the things to flow in. If I would have allowed the fear to take over, or focused on the lack, that’s what I would have gotten, lack. Today, I’m filled with gratitude for trusting the process and for the space I’ve built. The truth is, nothing comes without risk. If you want to create something meaningful, you have to be willing to face the uncertainty, to push past the fear, and to trust that what you’re building is worth it. Risk doesn’t guarantee safety, but it’s the only path that leads to real reward.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m a holistic esthetician, and it’s been a journey of passion and perseverance. As a single mom, I’ve learned to balance the art of nurturing others and nurturing my family. I believe what sets me apart is my deep commitment to holistic skincare and self-care practices that go beyond just beauty. I don’t just focus on the skin—I focus on the person as a whole, bringing a sense of balance and wellness that radiates from within.
Getting to where I am today was no easy feat. There were moments when I felt overwhelmed, especially trying to build my business while raising my children. But what kept me going was my unwavering belief in what I do. I faced plenty of challenges, from financial struggles to self-doubt, but I learned the importance of resilience and staying true to my values. I had trust in the process, and remind myself that I was building something meaningful—not just for myself, but for my clients and community.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is the power of self-care and being authentic. In this industry, it’s easy to get caught up in trends or expectations, but I’ve found that staying connected to my own values and being present with each client creates the best results. I’ve also learned that success doesn’t look the same for everyone—it’s about finding your own definition and not comparing your journey to others.
What I want the world to know about my brand is that it’s built on the foundation of love, intention, and empowerment. Every treatment I offer is designed to nourish the body and spirit. My goal is to not just provide a service but to create an experience that leaves you feeling renewed, grounded, and confident.
Through my story, I hope to inspire other single parents and entrepreneurs that anything is possible, even when the road is tough. It’s all about showing up, believing in yourself, and doing the work, no matter the obstacles.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a nature girl and hiking or the beach is always on the itinerary.
Unfortunately, one of my favorite hiking spots, Temescal Canyon, has recently been impacted by wildfires. Normally, a hike through Temescal would be at the top of my list, followed by grabbing food at the Palisades Erewhon and a picnic on the beach. I continue to pray daily for the recovery of these affected areas.
When it comes to local dining, there are a few spots I always enjoy. Marvin on Beverly Blvd., Stir Crazy on Melrose, and House of Pies on South Beverly Dr. For a relaxing evening, I love spending time at Shiloh’s Tea House, and for wellness, a sound bath with Ana Netanel, Kundalini yoga at 9 Treasures Yoga and a day at my phenomenal gym Heimat. I also love the living room for dinner and seeing cool artists in an intimate setting.
