Hi Leona, what do you attribute your success to?
As a real estate professional and a business owner, I attribute the company and my success to a few core principles. First, I focus on solutions for our clients rather than simply selling them services. Working beyond traditional business hours is also crucial, as clients often expect accessibility and timely support. Putting the client’s needs first is paramount, even if it means sacrificing your own business interests. It’s also important to stay educated and evolve with the industry; I’ve pursued additional training in Probate & Trust, SRES Senior Real Estate, SFR Short Sale and Foreclosure, and Real Estate Investment to meet evolving customer needs. When all these components come together, success is inevitable.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
With over a decade of experience in real estate and being a successful business owner in Asia, I took a brief hiatus when my family and I relocated to Los Angeles 10 years ago. I wanted to spend time with my loved ones; it was a much-needed break from the rigors of being a working mom. After several prosperous business ventures, I came to the realization that my true passion was in real estate, and I was ready to dive back in.
After a year of preparation, including state education, exams, obtaining my license, web development, company, office, and much more, I am back to real estate. Although all preparation tasks were challenging, I was determined to succeed in doing what I do best and feel happiest doing.
The Los Angeles real estate market is notorious for its bustling activity as well as its fierce competition. Despite our attempts to adopt a variety of marketing campaigns and strategies, we failed to make significant progress. However, through interactions with various clientele, I began to identify the market’s needs and shifted our focus toward fulfilling those demands- a winning strategy indeed. Satisfied customers are a powerful tool in the industry, as their recommendations can attract new clients for months to come.
A strong education is crucial to meeting clients’ needs. Whether it’s ensuring families keep their homes in foreclosure, providing care for senior clients, or working with real estate investors, cases related to probate and trust, knowledge is key.
As a Realtor, I obtained additional certifications and education through NAR & CAR. I am motivated to continually learn and grow in order to serve my clients better.
Our team is concentrated on helping homeowners in distress, especially those with recorded Notice of Default due to mortgage, HOA, or Pace Lien-related issues. As a certified SFR Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource, I am well aware of the multifaceted nature of this situation. Selling one’s home is not always the only viable solution. There are various options available to delay, stop, or halt pre-foreclosure proceedings.
When our clients receive servicer approval via forbearance or Government assistance acceptance, we feel that our hard work has paid off. Alternatively, we can develop a strategy to pursue a standard sale and steer clear of a short sale. Our team derives great satisfaction from providing clients with effective solutions to their problems and saving homes.
Every default situation stems from a unique set of challenges and life stories, and our top priority is to prevent foreclosure, which can have a significant impact on one’s overall well-being.
Additionally, we cater to senior clients who require a unique set of services and care. I truly understand that buying or selling a property means transforming an entire life, and I am equipped with the knowledge and expertise to expertly navigate my clients through every step of the process. From downsizing to relocating into an active adult community, 401(k) & IRA accounts, reverse mortgages, government programs, and long-term care expenses, I address each aspect with diligence and care.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Although my days are mainly devoted to work, I have a few favorite spots in Los Angeles that never fail to delight me. Franklin Canyon Park offers fantastic hiking trails, while Manhattan Beach is perfect for a leisurely walk or bike ride. When it comes to shopping, I always head to Beverly Hills. As for dining, there are endless beautiful restaurants to choose from, but I’ll always have a soft spot for a cozy home-cooked meal. Unfortunately, I’m not much of a nightclub person, so I can’t offer tips on that front. For workouts, I prefer the facilities at Beverly Hills Hotels or my friends’ homes for some tennis action.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family, including my parents and daughter, are my greatest motivators, fueling my drive to achieve new goals. Their endless love, unwavering support, and faith in me are indispensable. Indeed, without them, it would be challenging to succeed.
