Meet Levi Osborn | Founder/Host of Creative Ambiance

We had the good fortune of connecting with Levi Osborn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Levi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I discovered my love for storytelling in college while working at the school radio station. Hosting my own show gave me a chance to curate meaningful experiences for listeners, whether through music or thoughtful conversations. It was a creative outlet that I genuinely enjoyed and felt connected to.
After graduating, I started a corporate career in tech, but something felt off. Even in that first year, I realized I was missing a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I didn’t want to fall into the routine of going through the motions without doing something I was passionate about. That’s when I started thinking: Whynot start it myself?
I’d always been connected to talented people with incredible stories—stories that deserved more visibility. Back in 2019, I didn’t see many platforms or podcasts dedicated to creatives who were just starting out or still working their way up. There were big outlets like Complex, Revolt, or Vice, but those focused on established names. I wanted to spotlight the talent that was still emerging, the ones who needed that first step into the spotlight.
So, I decided to carve out that space. It wasn’t just about filling a gap—it was about creating something meaningful that aligned with my passion and gave others a platform to share their stories.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Creative Ambiance serves as an podcast & community for creatives/entrepreneurs of all different mediums. From musicians, photographers, fashion designers, artists, to small business owners and everything in between. While there are now many brands and podcasts that cover similar pockets, what separates us apart from the others centers around the types of conversations we have, and the guests that we curate.
The conversations are meant to provide guidance, clarity, and depth to the audience around the subject’s story and how that directly relates to the story that the listener may be experiencing in their own right.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love downtown LA. You can experience so much in such a short distance. From fine dining & drinks at Level 8, to more intimate dinners in the Arts District. Hangs at Echo Park Lake, easy access to Dodger games, Chinatown shenanigans, underground wharehouse parties, events at the soho house with the homies. The possibilities are endless.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There’s so many people and brands that I’ve been inspired by. Firstly, shoutout to KCSU (my college radio station) for taking a chance on me and exposing me to this medium. Starting off, I didn’t know a damn thing and was lucky enough to have a good friend (DJ Elekt) that helped me get started in the content world. Teaching me the basics of video editing and audio mixing/mastering. From there, my old roommate (Nic Saldana) who is a talented cinematographer, helped me immensly with production of the podcast and teaching me the importance of lighting and many more technical aspects of film production.
