Meet Leysla Rubino | Founder & Marketing Strategist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Leysla Rubino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leysla, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
When I first started in the marketing industry over 12 years ago, work-life balance was quite a challenge. I dedicated countless hours to my work, driven by passion and a desire to excel. However, as I founded and grew Dream agency, my perspective on balance evolved. Initially, the demands of establishing Dream agency blurred the lines between work and personal life. Over time, I learned the importance of delegating tasks and trusting my team. This allowed me to maintain a healthier balance.
Today, I approach work-life balance holistically. I prioritize time management, set clear boundaries, and ensure I make time for self-care and loved ones. This balance is crucial for creativity, reducing burnout, and enhancing productivity. At Dream agency, I encourage my team to find their own balance, believing that a well-rested and fulfilled team delivers the best results.
Achieving work-life balance is an ongoing journey, requiring continuous adjustment. By valuing both professional growth and personal well-being, we create a sustainable and fulfilling path to success.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Dream agency is all about bringing creativity and strategy together to help brands shine. What sets us apart is our holistic approach and personalized touch. We tailor our strategies to each client’s unique needs, ensuring that their vision is brought to life in the most effective way possible. I’m particularly proud of the innovative campaigns we’ve developed and the strong, lasting relationships we’ve built with our clients.
My professional journey has been both exciting and challenging. Starting out in marketing over 12 years ago, I faced many obstacles, from understanding rapidly changing digital trends to building a client base from scratch. Founding Dreamg Agency was a leap of faith, and it wasn’t always easy. There were long hours, tough decisions, and moments of doubt. However, my passion for creativity and my determination to succeed kept me going. Overcoming these challenges involved a lot of learning and adapting. I invested in continuous education, attended workshops, and sought mentorship from industry leaders. Building a strong, talented team was also crucial. Together, we navigated the complexities of the marketing world and celebrated our victories, big and small.
What I want the world to know about Dream agency is that we are more than just a marketing firm. We are a team of passionate, creative individuals dedicated to helping our clients achieve their dreams. We believe in the power of personalized marketing strategies and the impact they can have on a brand’s success. Our story is one of perseverance, creativity, and a deep commitment to our clients. We strive to be a full-faceted, full-service creative and marketing agency that brings unique visions to life with love and care. Whether it’s through innovative content creation, publications with local and any global magazines, strategic influencer campaigns, or comprehensive marketing strategies, we are here to make our clients’ dreams a reality.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received throughout my journey, but one person stands out above all: my husband, Joe Rubino. Joe has been my rock, my best friend, and my unwavering supporter. From the very beginning, he believed in my dreams and has been there every step of the way, both personally and professionally.
Joe is not just my life partner; he is also my partner in crime and business partner. His encouragement and love have been vital to my success. Whether it’s brainstorming new ideas for Dream agency or providing a listening ear during challenging times, Joe’s support has been invaluable. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his constant presence and belief in me. In addition to Joe, I want to acknowledge the incredible team at Dream agency. Their dedication, creativity, and hard work are the backbone of our success. Each member brings unique strengths and talents, making us a dynamic and innovative agency.
Lastly, a big shoutout to our clients who trust us with their visions and allow us to bring their dreams to life. Their success is our success, and I am deeply thankful for the relationships we have built. To everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support and belief in me have made all the difference.
