We had the good fortune of connecting with Liliane Rosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Liliane, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
prioritize product quality, use good quality materials, and persistence

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My story in the kitchen began in 2007 in Brazil, where I worked in an exhausting job as a designer of modular furniture designs. It took me 3 hours to get to and from work and I didn’t have much of a promising future. At that time, I was married and my mother-in-law was a real fairy in the kitchen. I always told her: everything she prepared, even a fried egg, was wonderful. She really has a gift for cooking. At that time, I already had my first child, so since I had to work outside the home, it broke my heart to leave my son at daycare to go to work. At that time, my father-in-law had a brilliant idea: to get his sons and daughters-in-law together and work together to open a bakery, because he knew that his wife had talent in the kitchen. For me, it was wonderful. I immediately accepted to work with them because I could be closer to my son, who needed me at that time. I didn’t know anything about cooking because I grew up in a home where my mother didn’t like to cook. I remember when I was a child I asked my mother to teach me how to cook, but she thought I was too young to learn and always said: when I was older she would teach me (but that never happened), but then I put it out of my head. Returning to the opening of the bakery, my father-in-law was the investing partner. He bought all the kitchen utensils. He already had a dining room that was renovated. I even designed the bakery, where each person gave their own touch to the decoration. Some of the children agreed to work in the family business. I remember them having a meeting and deciding what each person would do in the bakery. At first, they wanted to put me in charge of cleaning and organizing the bakery, because I didn’t know how to cook and didn’t understand anything about business. It was then that I said: I know how to clean. If I were to work with the family, I would like to learn how to cook, because I felt the desire to learn something new. So it all started there. I had many challenges. One time, I turned over a pot of cream in my arms. It was very hot. I had just taken it off the stove. I knew that it was God who protected me because I didn’t have any burn marks on my arms. I once went to a church service with my two young children. It was a women’s service. A sister, I don’t remember her name, was ministering the word. I felt a strong warmth in my hands and a great peace within my heart. It was then that at the end of the service a sister came to me and gave me a word from God. She said that during the service she saw an angel handing me a talent. From then on, I knew that God had given me the talent of cooking. I am grateful for all the difficulties I have faced, and the victories too. It was not easy to get here and I still have great challenges to overcome, but I always try to look ahead and know that God is faithful to fulfill His word in our lives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
definitely one of the places I like to go to this day is Palos Verdes, a region of California, the beaches of Hermosa, Redondo and Manhattan are my favorite places, and also a city that I loved visiting was New York, restaurants have several bistros close to the beaches that it is difficult to know which is the best
