Meet Linda Bucaram | Elopements & Wedding photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Linda Bucaram and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Linda, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process is capturing real moments in a beautiful way! I have always seen the world in a beautiful way where I can see beauty in everything and specially in the raw simple everyday things! When COVID hit I was working as a designer which is what I graduated from but with the craziness of COVID I decided to keep expanding and taking a chance on photography which was what I have always loved but never dared to try and with the economic instability that COVID left everyone I wanted to do more but more of something I love which is keep portraying in my art the beautiful ways I look at the world and the things around it! I thought if I will be working on more things it has to be in something I have my heart on like that I will never get bored and want to do more and I will do it better than things I am just doing for getting money!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sera me apart is that I am fully immersed in the wedding photography business besides taking the pictures I also began to focus mainly in helping photographers to build their personal branding and 90 percent of my clients now are wedding photographers and that has helped me to better and have a deeper vision of the wedding photography world which translate into my work

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So normally I will take them in a hike at griffith park, then we will go to get a coffee at coffee bean my favorite coffee shop after that we will go to get brunch at plan check for their famous chicken and waffles! then we will go to walk around Santa Monica and go into the fair when if get dark at night I will take my friend for a hike in the car this time to see the sunset and then go home watch a movie and hang out in the house ( I am not a night out person)

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To my husband because he was the one that helped me get all that I need it to begin my photography business ! Also to my friend Brook she is a wedding planner and she was so inspiring to watch grow in it! But also she hosted this photographer retreats to help photographers built content and that was such an amazing thing I am so lucky to have experienced before beginning anything and also to prove myself I was capable of doing this!
