We had the good fortune of connecting with Linda Wang and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Linda, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I started talking to myself the way I talk to others about pursing their dreams and goals. Why was it that I could speak so kindly and encourage others but not speak the same way to myself? For a long time, I didn’t believe that I was worthy of good things.

My therapist gave me a daily exercise to look in the mirror and say one nice thing to myself. It was an absolute nightmare of an assignment that I avoided for MONTHS. After the first time I finally did it, I was shaking and in tears because I didn’t believe the words to be true. Once I practiced speaking kindly to myself and started believing in myself, everything changed.

I also take care of myself from the inside out from what I eat to nourish my body and what I watch and listen to to help keep my mind focused on goals. Exercising and practicing yoga also helps me to prioritize my physical, emotional, and mental health.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Linked by Linda is a permanent jewelry experience. It’s clapseless custom fitted jewelry meant to keep up with your lifestyle. The pieces put any look together if you’re dressing up or keeping it casual. It’s great because permanent jewelry fits everyone.

I am extremely sentimental! I love connecting with others by creating and sharing memories! I went to get a permanent bracelet done with a close friend and enjoyed our time together – whenever I see the bracelet I am reminded of our day together and am thankful for our friendship. I wanted to help recreate that for other people whether it be treating yourself, getting a matching one with your loved ones, or hosting a party – I want to help create a special memory that they’ll cherish and never forget!

“If you wait until you’re ready, you’ll end up waiting your entire life.”
I’m so proud of myself for starting. I have no idea how to run a business but I am fully confident in the experience I provide and how it brings others together.

I want the world to know that if you have a passion to create something beautiful and meaningful or share your craft – don’t be afraid to do it! It sounds cliche but you really won’t know what you’re capable of until you try!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh my gosh, I don’t think a week in LA is enough time to take them to every spot! LA is filled with so many good eats, wonderful views, and hidden gems all over! I definitely think these places are worth visiting while in LA:

– Hot Yoga Pasadena (what’s more LA than yoga?)
– Fika Fika for coffee
– KazuNori for hand rolls
-Sunright Tea Stuido for boba
– Huntington Library to walk and enjoy the beautiful blooms
– Dinner and drinks at any rooftop bar in LA to catch the sunset! Every rooftop I’ve been to has been a beautiful sight and it’s a great way to end the day!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shout out to my friends and family! There will never be enough words for me to express my gratitude for all my crazy ideas, late night+early morning text messages, and the overflow of love and encouragement they’ve poured on to me.

Biggest shoutout to God and the path that He created and every open door because what is meant for you will not pass you.
