Hi Linus, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted starting up something I could use in providing for my needs and I know how working under other people can be so pressuring and taskful so I needed to figure out how to develop something on my own and work towards it
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started braiding hairs since I was 10. Right from childhood,I have always wanted to be different,I wanted to own things I worked hard to get and be my own boss.I always admire when I see people very busy doing things diligently in order to survive and I was motivated to improve myself on time.It wasn’t easy for me though as I didn’t really come from a well to do family and the only thing I know my mum was really interested in then was how to ensure food was on the table and pay for our school fees.I struggled why advising my inner self that I would get to where u want someday.I have not really attained all I wanted but I believe life is a step by step process and looking at myself now,I would say I am proud of myself.My brand’s name is Annie’s signature and trust me,you can’t get the best braid elsewhere if you don’t patronize me.I am good at what I do and I make sure I give in my best to make my customers happy and satisfied.I am putting it out there to you all, don’t give up on your dreams,No matter how difficult you think it is to get to your goals.Remember it’s just a phase of life.It also shall pass
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Eateries would be the place I would want to take my best friend to.I am a fan of food and I definitely would not want to keep my best friend hungry.If my friend is staying for a week,then that week will be dedicated to a lot of food fantasies because I won’t give him or her a chance of staying idle without a plate of food placed nicely in front of her.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to my mum.She has always been my biggest fan,supporter and friend.I am praying earnestly I don’t get to disappoint her and I look forward to bringing more smiles on her face.
