Meet Lisa Zampolin | Designer & Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Zampolin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lisa, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe that the most important factor behind the success of my brand is that I always follow my heart! I can ask for all the advise in the world, at the end of the day I have found that following my heart has always lead me in the right direction.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Most successful companies these days have many hands involved in the process. What sets Love, Lisa apart is that this, is not the case with my brand. I hand make every single piece of jewelry that goes out the door. Making sure that the quality of each piece is what I expect. I get so intimate with my customers that I find myself saying a prayer for someone when making a religious piece of jewelry. It’s quite amazing how much I know about my customers over the years. It certainly is the one thing that really sets me part from most other jewelry brands.
I have always been known as, “The Best Kept Secret In The Jewelry Industry”. What an honor to have that title!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am all about shopping, eating and living local. If my bestie was in town we would for sure visit Montauk. We would spend the day visiting the lighthouse, having lunch at Gosman’s dock. The restaurant is located on the water’s edge and it’s so beautiful. There are cute little shops and of course, the best little ice cream place for dessert!
I am a big shopper, we would stop off at many of the little local boutiques along our ride home. I do love to support local businesses. I also just love when I stop into random boutiques and I hear, “Oh wow, are you Lisa from Love, Lisa?”.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe the success of my brand to my family. If it weren’t for my Husband supporting my dream, I would never have been able to create Love, Lisa. I started the company in 2001, before we had our children and I was lucky enough to be able to parent and work at the same time. I worked part time hours when my children were young so that I could really be involved with their everyday life. Thankfully, my husband had a career that allowed me to do that.
