We had the good fortune of connecting with Liss Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liss, how do you think about risk?
I think life is all about risk taking, sometimes it pays off but even if it doesn’t I always learn lessons along the way and would hate to regret not taking risks because I was afraid of things not working out.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a singer songwriter from a small town, I started writing music at 8 years old and started gigging at around 12. I used to watch other artists in my area And have definitely learned so much from them, I’m still learning from the people that I meet at gigs and really love to connect with people. I travel around the world singing to amazing audiences and hope that people can see how passionate I am about it..

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to my mams for a cuppa first, I think everything is better over a cup of tea! And then I would go for a lovely walk around the local park/castle and take them to a local gig for sure.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
So many people deserve recognition, my parents and family have been so supportive in my career, they have taught me so many things along the way and I’m so grateful.
