We had the good fortune of connecting with Logan Stone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Logan, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
If I gave up, I would probably just start trying to do what I’m doing now in the future anyway, so giving up isn’t really an option. I have realized that this is what I’m supposed to do with my life, so if I gave up, it would be like I’m giving up on my life. The intense desire and visions I’ve had from the start of this process (even earlier) are all the confirmation I need to know that I’m meant to do this.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m most excited about my cinematic universe I wrote during covid. I’m releasing my first book in 2025, and have other scripts lined up to tell the story in bite-sized chunks. Anything is possible, and I have had this vision for so long that I’m starting to see the results compound and it’s exciting. I don’t know where I’ll be in a year or two, but I have all the optimism in the world that this hard work will continue to pay off.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live on the westside, so I would start our day by jumping in the ocean, then we’d grab a coffee at Gnarwhal in Ocean Park. We are movie buffs so going to motion picture academy museum would be a great time. And we’d end the night with an amazing show at the Hollywood Bowl (if I’m writing the itinerary, we’re seeing Jungle).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my high school football coach Matt Irvin. At a time when I didn’t think I was very good, and easily got pushed around by kids bigger than me, he saw something in me and would always say “Stoney, god doggit, you are just getting better.” And it instilled in me that I’m not a finished product, nobody is, and the way to close the gap between me and where I want to be is to keep showing up and applying myself and results would come.
