We had the good fortune of connecting with Louis Polo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Louis, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my brand’s success is persistence. As a leader, understand that digital brands are met with rapid changes and that certain digital climates require one to be extremely consistent. Simultaneously, an equally important factor is knowing your brand’s integrity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When one’s professional endeavors and creative entrepreneurship result in positive personal growth, the reward duplicates. Throughout my professional journey, I’ve encountered scenarios and met people that have highly reinforced my character. Personal growth, as a result of my creative profession, is what makes me the proudest. Understanding myself better and having a clear path of my personal values is what has positively impacted the relationships I form with the brands I work with. My brand’s story is one rooted in steady yet consistent growth. Centered on nearly ten years of hard work, conflicting lessons, and countless episodes of trial and error. But as a result, a clear path to financial freedom and neverending learning.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a travel aficionado, the SoCal challenge sounds like the most appropriate and fun adventure to experience with a friend. Starting with breakfast at Blue Daisy in Santa Monica – their eggs benedict is a must. Followed by a relaxing stroll on the beach and possibly a quick morning scooter tour. Back in the car for a two-hour ride to Mt San Jacinto State Park. Experience the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and enjoy the gorgeous views from Peaks Restaurant. We may even be able to do a snowman if visiting during wintertime. Spend a few hours within nature, wildlife, and exquisite air quality. We would conclude with a stunning culinary and mixology experience at Sand Fish. And just like that, one day, we visited the beach, the mountains (possibly snow), and the desert.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I dedicate this Shoutout interview to my sister, Deliz Mateo. She has always supported my professional growth with ample actions. Always providing bright ideas and physically showing up to help me execute them.
