Meet Luciana Inés Castro | Publicist – Creative Copywriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Luciana Inés Castro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Luciana Inés, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process start when I decided to leave my job in office (advertising agency) and I had to start my own way as a Creative Copywriter Freelance. If I can split my process in steps, these could be: 1) Let everyone know about my new way of work as a freelance (ex bosses, teammates, using linkedin, instagram, behance)
2) Create a Instagram account where I can share with the world my content, works, portfolio.
3) Learn about finance and time management .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started sharing my content on Instagram because I wanted everyone to know what ad creative and creative copywriting is.
I wanted each person to be able to use creativity to their advantage, for their own businesses or causes.
It not was easy, the very big challenge was with my self. I had to overcome the fears of exposing myself on social networks.
I had to embrace my inner saboteur, close my eyes and jump to my dreams.
I learned that when we take a step to do something we like, life (or the universe) always conspires in our favor and that is the most beautiful part of being encouraged to do what we want to do.
I also learned that the path of having your own business and living from your ideas is not lineal, there are better or worse moments, you have to learn to surf those waves and continue.
Life is too short, so we can (or must) use our creativity and try to live it the way we like best 🙂

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love being a tour guide so here are my 3 favorite spots in Buenos Aires:
Sarkis – wildly popular Armenian restaurant in Villa Crespo.Cheap, abundant and the food is wonderful ❤️
Café Crespin – If you want to try the best cinammon roll in town (or in the world)
878 Bar – Speakeasy bar with incredible and exclusive drinks and amazing veggie food

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wanted to dedicate my shoutout to:
My family who have been my first fans and have accompanied me even when they did not know what I was doing
My friends who have been a great support and motivation during my creative process and career.
My agency teammates who taught me to be a more creative and professional person every day.
My contemporary creative inspirations like Austin Kleon, Elizabeth Gilbert and Ed Catmull.
