Meet Lucy Wayne

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lucy Wayne and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lucy, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My goal is to positively impact as many people as possible in the fitness and fashion industries here in Australia as well as overseas.
I can’t see my self retiring I’m some one who tends to get bored very quickly. I need to keep my mind and body active.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
There’s been a few exciting moment’s in my career.
I was given an opportunity to be the ‘Prada Girl’ in the Great Gatsby. During filming I was asked to be a small scene and to be directed 1’1 with Baz Luhrmann which was such a special moment.
I studied Fashion Design at university and over a year ago I went back to study Fitness full time. It wasn’t easy juggling studying full time and growing my personal styling business.
I have a passion for helping people whether that’s through clothing or through leading a healthy lifestyle.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’re talking about Sydney here. We have so many!!
Firstly a ferry ride around Sydney harbour. I would take them to Watson’s Bay to visit Doyles and Watson’s Bay Hotel.
Opera Bar is absolutely beautiful anytime of year. You can’t go wrong with the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Some of the most beautiful suburbs by the harbour:Balmain, Double Bay and Mosman.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s a few shout out’s firstly my parent’s for always listing to all of my idea’s and for encouraging me to pursue them.
My Community group’s in Bondi and Bronte- My Team Murph crew and The 440. I’ve received support throughout my fitness and embarking on my new career in Fitness.
