Meet Lyndon Enow | Singer/Songwriter & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lyndon Enow and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lyndon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The decision to embark on the exciting journey of starting my own business was deeply rooted in my passion for singing and songwriting, which has been a profound part of my life. As an only child, I’ve always turned to writing to process complex situations and emotions, and it was through this self-soothing process that I discovered the power of music.
My love for music led me to dive into singing and songwriting, and I quickly realized that I wanted to take this passion to the next level. I wanted my music to not only be an expression of my innermost thoughts and feelings but also to resonate with others and connect with them on a profound level.
This burning desire to share my music and create a brand that embodies this passion led me to establish my own record label, which I proudly named ‘acrnmco.’ This label represents more than just a collection of songs; it’s an accessible lifestyle brand that aims to bring people together through the universal language of music.
At ‘acrnmco,’ we believe in the power of music to bridge gaps between strangers in social situations. Our motto, ‘simplify your life with no questions asked,’ encapsulates our commitment to making life more enjoyable, without the complexities that often weigh us down. We’ve even dropped the ‘y’ from ‘any’ to emphasize our dedication to simplifying and enhancing lives.
Starting acrnmco was not just about creating a business; it was about sharing my soulful journey of singing and songwriting with the world. I wanted to create a brand that resonates with people and adds value to their lives by bringing them closer through the magic of music. It’s a testament to the power of creativity, connection, and simplification, all of which are at the heart of my journey as a singer and songwriter.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is a reflection of the rich tapestry of experiences and influences that have shaped my life. Born in Cameroon and raised in the culturally diverse Bay Area, I’ve had the privilege of growing up in two contrasting yet harmonious environments. This duality has significantly influenced my style of writing and my perspective as an artist.
What sets me apart from others is the fusion of these contrasting influences in my work. My art is a blend of cultural diversity, heartfelt storytelling, and a unique perspective that embraces the best of both worlds. I’m particularly proud of the authenticity and originality that this fusion brings to my writing and music.
Professionally, my journey has been anything but easy. Overcoming challenges has been a crucial part of my growth. I’ve learned that perseverance and resilience are key, and I’ve drawn inspiration from my diverse upbringing to keep pushing forward. These experiences have given me a wealth of stories to tell and a unique voice with which to tell them.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned along the way is that authenticity is invaluable. Embracing my cultural background, my ability to speak Spanish fluently, and even writing music in Spanish has allowed me to connect with a broader and more diverse audience. It’s a testament to the power of staying true to one’s roots and expressing oneself in one’s own unique way.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I am a storyteller who celebrates the beauty of diversity and the strength in embracing one’s unique perspective. My art is a reflection of the world as I see it, a world shaped by the contrasting influences of Cameroon and the Bay Area, and a world where language is a bridge to connect with people from all walks of life. I hope that through my work, I can inspire others to embrace their own uniqueness and share their stories with the world.
