We had the good fortune of connecting with Lyndsey Hull and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lyndsey, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
In the medical aesthetics field, I’ve noticed that one road block patients often face is not feeling comfortable, safe, or supported in seeking the treatments we offer. When I started The Wit one of my top priorities was creating a space where every client felt welcome, supported, and properly informed so that they could confidently make decisions about their treatment plan. Caring for one’s self and looking one’s best is a confidence booster that can contribute to greater success in life. I’m grateful to have built a place where my community can access this basic necessity of self care that is sometimes perceived as a luxury service. Our dedication to wellness, integrity and transformation helps our community realize their best selves, and in turn supports their success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Outside of my business I am also a musician and visual artist. Being apart of the arts community is partially why I began a career in medical aesthetics. I became fascinated with applying my artistic side in this field. I love to make others feel good, either by way of music or boosting someone’s self confidence.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in the Pacific Northwest is a privilege, with a beautiful landscape and so many amazing local businesses to discover. Anytime friends come to visit I’m thrilled to introduce them to my favorite Portland hot spots. I’d jump off the tour with a day at the Oregon coast, full of surfing or maybe a sunset at Hug Point. Red Fox Vintage would be our first stop in the city to score some unique treasures, then off to the Bye and Bye for delicious vegan friendly food & drinks. If we’re lucky we’ll even catch a show at Alberta Street Pub to cap off the night!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Wit wants to thank all of our family, friends, and community for supporting our small business. It was no easy feat to launch our business in the middle of a pandemic, and we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s support. Dr. Ruth, who is my dream business partner- witnessing her talent and expertise has been a privilege and it is my honor to work side by side with such a talented and supportive individual.
