We had the good fortune of connecting with Madison Paul and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Madison, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Before starting Face Fuel I dreamed of creating a business of my own. After attending FIDM and studying Beauty Marketing & Product Development I truly became attached to the idea of creating products as well one day.. As I was working at my old job I started to drive by an old, closed off gas station. After a few times passing by an idea came to my mind. I began to think of a facial studio that was inside of a retro gas station. That’s how I came up with the name “Face Fuel.” Come in and we will fuel your skin and face!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I created Face Fuel because I have a passion for making people feel beautiful in their own skin. We offer quality one on one services to our clients. The product line we carry is a natural raw ingredient product line from The Body Deli sourced in Palm Springs. I am most proud of how far Face Fuel as come and how many walks of lives we have touched along the way. I wouldn’t be here today without the support of friends, family, community and mentors along the way. It certainly wasn’t easy to navigate but having that support system really lifted some weight off my shoulders. Some of the biggest lessons Iv learned is life is always evolving, as well as your business! You have to grow and evolve with your business for it to succeed.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a best friend visiting Los Angeles Our first stop would be Face Fuel in Glendale. Treat them a facial possibly a lash lift + Tint. When we wrap up our pampering session I would take them over to the Americana and Glendale Galleria. Filled with great shopping, restaurants and ambiance. The next morning I would take them to Portio’s an amazing cafe here in Glendale or stay at the At Water Village farmers market and get some fresh produce!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shout out to my mother. She wrote in a journal and gave it to me back in the day that said, “take the time each day to follow something you love.” That quote has stuck to me for life. Follow your dreams, don’t hold back and pursue your passions.
