We had the good fortune of connecting with Marcello Liverani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marcello, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Emotions, dreams and visions are what make us human I strongly believe in the power of art in arousing emotions, dreams and visions.
For me, being creative, means embarking on a wonderful journey and having the opportunity to communicate it to others.
I have always had an inclination towards the artistic process in particular towards music. Therefore more than a choice it is something that is part of my nature

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What I try to express through my music concerns the human soul. I try to bring out some latent and deep emotions specially through the relationship we have with nature. I am particularly proud of my personal relationship with nature and I hope it can be felt in my music. My creative and professional path has been quite complex. I worked in the field of experimental music for several years until I reached a more serene relationship with music and embraced an expressiveness that could communicate to a wider audience. It was certainly not easy, starting from my studies, but I am really satisfied with the results I am getting. In particular, compared to other talented musicians of my genre, I try to keep a pinch of experimentation derived from my past. Reconciling these two aspects while continuing to communicate to people remains both the greatest lesson I have learned and the greatest challenge.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would organize a very varied week! I am lucky enough to live on an island that has an incredible sea and I would certainly start with a visit to some of the most beautiful and wild coasts including one in particular with very high sand dunes and free deers that in this season walk by the sea . I would still continue with the naturalistic wonders of my area such as the woods and the mountains. One of my passions is also archeology and, fortunately, there are many historical and prehistoric remains in my region. In my city surely there would also be spending time in the most typical restaurants and visiting the most fascinating neighborhoods.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely my wife Jessica who has been by my side since our teens. She supported me, pushed and endured, helping me to develop this great passion of mine.
