We had the good fortune of connecting with Marco Polo Guzman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marco Polo, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
The most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make was go 100% in on myself, and my business projects that I wanted to create. It came with a lot of sacrifices like family time, hanging out with friends and people I wanted to build a future with. Sometimes things don’t workout, and in the moment we can feel like its over. In the mist of that you truly find yourself and you discover how resilient you are and how you can overcome anything you face. Stay patient, work hard, and let god do the rest.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
No, nothing worthwhile is easy in life, like anything in life there are ups and downs, but the focus we should embrace is in improvement daily no matter how big or small. Because when things aren’t going your way, you will need those daily wins to give you momentum to go after the bigger goals you set for yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Have a leisurely breakfast and head to the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay for a unique underwater experience. Afternoon: Indulge in a seafood feast at a casino buffet or a specialized seafood restaurant. The Oyster Bar at Harrah’s is a must-try for fresh seafood. Take in a show or concert for a memorable Vegas entertainment experience. Explore the vibrant downtown area, Fremont Street, and its vintage casinos. Gear up for an exciting football game at one of the sports bars or catch a live game if it’s in season. Top off with some classic stadium snacks. Wind down with dinner at a local sports-themed restaurant to relive the game highlights.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank god for the position and responsibility he put on me. To my parents who sacrificed so much for my brothers to have a better life, and in better circumstances than how they started life. I am truly blessed and grateful to have amazing people around me. I would have never pursued what I’m going for if I had a bunch of “yes” people in my circle who agree with anything just to belong. I thankful they helped shaped and continue to shape my growth,
