Meet MARIE SANDOVAL

We had the good fortune of connecting with MARIE SANDOVAL and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi MARIE, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is consistent dedication to understanding people’s needs and providing value that resonates with them. For a brand, it’s about authenticity, staying true to its core mission, and building meaningful connections with the audience. When you create a service or product that not only meets needs but also builds trust, success naturally follows. For your brand, focusing on community, service quality, and adapting to feedback would be key pillars of success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My mobile bartending business has been a labor of love, dedication, and resilience. What sets us apart is our focus on creating unique, customized experiences that reflect the personality and preferences of our clients. Whether it’s a quinceañera, wedding, or any celebration, we make sure each event feels special by offering creative cocktails and exceptional service, tailored to fit the vibe of the event.
I’m most proud of the fact that my business has grown steadily over 13 years, despite many obstacles. It wasn’t an easy journey—there were financial struggles, long nights, and moments of self-doubt, but I persevered because I believed in my vision. My support system, including family and loyal clients, helped me push through those tough times.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of adaptability and keeping an open mind. The industry is constantly evolving, and being able to pivot, especially during challenges like the pandemic, is crucial. For example, we introduced cocktail pouches to accommodate changing demands, which turned out to be a hit.
What I want the world to know is that my business is a reflection of my values—family, culture, and community. I take immense pride in being a Latina business owner in Los Angeles, and I’m committed to providing exceptional service with a personal touch. My story is one of hard work, determination, and the belief that success comes when you stay true to your roots and keep striving, no matter how tough the road gets.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! I would dedicate my shoutout to my family, who have always supported me through the ups and downs, and to my close friends who have been there through every challenge. Special recognition goes to the Latino and small business communities in Los Angeles, which have been a huge inspiration and driving force in my journey. They’ve shown me that it’s possible to thrive through hard work and resilience. Lastly, I would shout out to my daughter, who motivates me to keep pushing forward and strive for success in everything I do.
