We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark And Adam Lieber And Newman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mark and Adam, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Mark Lieber: There has been a void for a destination event in Los Angeles and for the two dominant industries in the city, entertainment and tech to come together. They are also becoming more collaborative and intermeshed. It was our hope the festival would bring the leaders and decision makers from these industries together. We continue to grow and reinvent ourselves each year.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Adam Newman: Mark is laser-focused on the business of Infinity Festival. It’s 24/7 thinking with him and his tenacity pushes everything forward. I’m controlling the creative of the brand, which doesn’t always happen on a linear path. Mark pushes me to meet deadlines and I push him into creative areas that no one else is dealing with. I’m micro and he’s macro. So together we’re successful. We’re also married and there’s power in that – people know they’re dealing with a unit, not just one person. And I think that’s something that draws people in.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Adam Newman: We are inspired by art & technology, and the festival does a deep dive into both. We believe that art drives technology and vice-versa, one doesn’t really exist without the other. If you use photography as a basic example, the camera is totally mechanical, but the photographer, the creator, activates it. The first cave paintings were made with sticks, and that was the technology that was available then. Today, creative thinkers drive technology forward. It’s personal and global at the same time. And that’s the guideline we use to put together our event. It’s creative and personal, but we’re showcasing global thinking.
