We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark Gray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mark, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Our business helps a lot of people, such as independent artists. We give them a platform to shine when others don’t. We also help artists in the music industry to learn the business. My partner William Howell and I have a management company called “Howell and Gray.” We also have a gospel radio show called “Morning Gospel with Mark” that features a lot of independent gospel, and gospel rap artist. We also have another radio show with William “Dollr Billsko” Howell, it comes on every Saturday after 12 noon. It’s a great show, everyone should tune in.I’m also an A&R and a producer for Moneytree Music Group.

What should our readers know about your business?
Ok, what sets us apart from others is we act normal and we don’t act like we are above anyone. Our doors are always open. I’m most proud and excited to help as many people as we can get to the next level. The smiles and joy on people’s faces brings us joy and happiness. It wasn’t easy getting to where we are today, it took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears getting to this point. There were times I had to sleep in the car and sometimes I didn’t eat because I had no money when we were out of town. But having faith in God and not giving up kept me going. I’ve learned to always pay attention and learn as much as I can so I can stay ready for whatever comes my way. Never give up if things don’t go right the first ten times but think of a better way to do it and make it better. I want the world to know that with God everything is possible and we take God with us everywhere we go. Our brand has been blessed and anointed so when you are around us you will most definitely feel the spirit of God.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s a good question lol. I would take them downtown Nashville. That is the spot where we have great food, live shows and you never know who you might see down there. Nashville has so much to do it would take a month or two just to show them how great my city is. If we started on a Sunday we could go catch a Titans game and maybe get some Nashville hot chicken. During the week we would go downtown to some of the bars or maybe B.B Kings, we could also cath a Predators ice hockey game. Go cart driving. There are so many things we could do but there are too many to name lol.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
off course. First and always first I have to give glory and honor to God who made everything possible. My beautiful wife Trina Gray. My brother and business partner William “Dolla Billsko” Howell, Curtis “Getmo” Moore, Dre on the track Boi who is my other brother from another mother. Dre and I have some things in the near future. I also want to shoutout my brother A.J. “Prafet” from Compton, California. My mother Lisa, my uncle Ronnie and last but not least my late son Lil Mark Gray Jr. and my late grandmother Thelma Gray. May they Live In Peace
