We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan “Meme” Kelly and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Megan “Meme”, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is consistency. The ability to show up everyday is very important. Staying in the faces of your audience along with providing a solution to a problem will always provide success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When I first entered the beauty industry it was back in 2013. I had just transitioned from the corporate world and wanted to pursue my passion in hair. It was not a easy road to travel, however, I trusted the process and placed all bets on me. I overcame many obstacles by not accepting the word NO. I allowed that to fuel me to be better and work harder to get to the next goal. Over the years, I have learned many lessons but one is YOU NEED A TEAM. Doing it alone is good, but you are as great as those that are behind you.
