Meet Melissa Meyers | Content Creator, Lifestyle: Holistic Living, Clean Beauty, Fashion, Wellness and Travel

We had the good fortune of connecting with Melissa Meyers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Melissa, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success—and the success of my brand—has been staying true to who I am while serving a community that’s often overlooked. When I started creating content for women 50+, I didn’t see many people in the space who looked like me or spoke to this stage of life with both style and substance. I saw a gap, and rather than try to fit into a younger mold, I leaned into my own experience and voice.
Consistency, authenticity, and genuine connection have been key. I don’t post just to post—I share what I truly love, believe in, or find inspiring. Whether it’s clean beauty, wellness, fashion, or strength milestones, everything I put out there is tested, thoughtful, and meant to elevate women who want to feel and look their best at any age.
Also, I’ve built this brand slowly and intentionally, rooted in trust. My audience knows that if I recommend something, it’s because I believe in it. That trust is everything. And finally, I’ve embraced reinvention. I didn’t grow up in a digital world—I had to learn, adapt, and evolve with it, which I think is something many women can relate to. My success comes from showing what’s possible when you say yes to new chapters and don’t let age be a barrier to visibility, vitality, or style.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My professional journey has always centered around storytelling and connection. I founded PageDaily, an online lifestyle magazine, where I served as Editor-in-Chief and created content that blended expert advice, product picks, and smart, stylish living. I also appeared regularly on the local Today Show in New York, doing monthly segments on beauty, fashion, and wellness—helping busy women discover ways to elevate their everyday.
When I moved from NYC to LA, I noticed a major shift. Influencers were being photographed and celebrated everywhere—but most of them were decades younger than me. That’s when it clicked: I could do this too, but in a way that spoke to my own age group. I wanted to create a platform for women 50+ that was aspirational yet accessible—rooted in wellness, style, confidence, and curiosity.
What sets me apart is that I live and share a lifestyle that’s age-positive, holistic, and grounded in real experience. Whether it’s my clean beauty picks, travel guides, strength milestones (like doing planks and burbees at 60!), or mindset shifts, I’m always thinking about how to uplift and inspire women to feel their best from the inside out.
The path hasn’t always been smooth. Reinvention takes courage, especially when the space doesn’t yet exist. I’ve had to build my own lane—trusting my vision, staying consistent, and refusing to let age define what’s possible.
What I’ve learned is this: confidence is built by showing up, style has no expiration date, and it’s never too late to try something new. I hope my journey helps other women see aging not as something to fear—but as something to fully embrace.
At the end of the day, my story and brand are about possibility, visibility, and joy. There’s so much life—and style—on the other side of 50. And I’m proud to be part of a movement that’s redefining what that looks and feels like.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting L.A. for a week, I’d plan the ultimate mix of sunshine, great food, a little wellness, some culture, and of course—those quintessential L.A. moments that make you fall in love with this city.
We’d start with a beach day at the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica or head up the coast to Malibu for sun, sand, and people-watching. Lunch would be at Malibu Farm or Great White in Venice—one of my favorite spots for fresh, flavorful food with a cool coastal vibe. It’s perfect after a beach stroll or morning exploring Abbot Kinney.
Another day might start with a hike at Runyon Canyon, followed by a matcha or green juice at Erewhon (because it’s practically a wellness pilgrimage). For something quieter and more scenic, we’d go to Griffith Park or spend an afternoon at the Getty—soaking in the art, gardens, and sweeping views.
Evenings would be all about amazing food and catching up. I’d plan dinners at Craig’s for the classic Hollywood scene, Giorgio Baldi for unforgettable pasta and people-watching, Alba for Mediterranean with a view, and Funke in Beverly Hills for a buzzy, modern Italian night out.
We’d walk and shop Montana Ave for a more relaxed local feel—maybe brunch at Café de la Plage, which I love for its charm and healthy dishes. Then of course a little Rodeo Drive moment, and maybe some boutique browsing around Melrose Place.
For culture, LACMA is always a favorite, or we’d check out the Broad depending on the exhibits. I’d also build in time for self-care—a facial, a stop at Remedy Place or Pause Studio for wellness treatments, or just a slow coffee morning on my patio.
What makes L.A. so special to me is the contrast—nature and glamour, wellness and indulgence, calm and excitement. The people here are vibrant and creative, and there’s always something inspiring around the corner. I love sharing this city through my lens: laid-back, elevated, and full of little luxuries that make everyday life feel beautiful.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
