We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Bell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, how does your business help the community?
Producing special events brings the community together, with friends and family coming together. A big part of my enjoyment is seeing the smiles of the crowd.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Bell Event Services is an event production company specializing in large outdoor events. Street fairs, concerts, parades and corporate events. We also provide audiovisual services for other event planners. In business for almost 23 years.
We focus on providing peace of mind to our customers. We feel this is our most important job.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Because we produce events, we would want them to experience one of our events. Fiesta Hermosa is one of the largest street fairs on Southern California. The Long Beach Blues Festival is another. There also Summer Concerts throughout the area that we put on. The St. Patrick’s Parade is a blast. Our business is fun!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife, Cheryl who also helps me run the business. Her support and encouragement keep me going. She lifts me up when I’m down and is a sounding board as issues come up.
