We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Ramos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, how do you define success?
As the CEO of ASN Lifestyle Magazine, I define success in the adult lifestyle and entertainment industries as creating a platform that not only showcases the diversity and complexity of our community but also provides a safe and inclusive space for individuals to express themselves.

Success to me means being a leading voice in the industry, known for our high-quality content, engaging events, and commitment to promoting education, awareness, and acceptance. It means building a loyal following of readers, attendees, and partners who appreciate our unique perspective and approach.

In terms of specific metrics, success can be measured by the growth of our audience, the increase in attendance at our events, and the expansion of our reach through social media and other channels. However, it’s not just about numbers; it’s about creating a lasting impact on the lives of those we touch.

For example, when we receive feedback from readers who say that our magazine or events have helped them feel more confident or connected to their community, that’s success. When we see an increase in attendance at our events or an uptick in engagement on social media because people are excited about what we’re doing – that’s success too!

Ultimately though – Success is defined by Empowering people through Education awareness & acceptance within Adult Entertainment Industry.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As the CEO of ASN Lifestyle Magazine, I’ve had a career that’s been marked by passion, perseverance, and a commitment to serving the alternative lifestyle community. My journey began with a desire to create a platform that would showcase the diversity and complexity of this community, and provide a voice for those who often go unheard.

What sets me apart from others is my unwavering dedication to this mission. I’ve faced numerous challenges along the way, from skepticism and criticism to financial struggles and self-doubt. However, I’ve always remained focused on my vision and have been willing to take calculated risks to bring it to life.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the impact that ASN Lifestyle Magazine has had on the community. We’ve created a safe space for people to share their stories, connect with like-minded individuals, and find resources and support. We’ve also helped to promote greater understanding and acceptance of alternative lifestyles, which has been incredibly rewarding.

Getting to where I am today professionally was not easy. There have been many late nights, early mornings, and countless hours of hard work. However, I’ve learned that it’s all worth it when you’re doing something you love. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of resilience and adaptability. The ability to pivot when necessary and stay focused on your goals is crucial in overcoming obstacles.

Another key lesson I’ve learned is the value of building strong relationships and partnerships. Surrounding myself with talented individuals who share my vision has been instrumental in our success. It’s also taught me the importance of empathy, compassion, and understanding in leadership.

As for what I want the world to know about me or my brand and story, it’s simple: we’re committed to creating a more inclusive and accepting world for everyone. We believe that everyone deserves respect, dignity, and compassion, regardless of their lifestyle choices or preferences. Our goal is to continue providing a platform for marginalized voices, promoting education and awareness about alternative lifestyles through our magazine as well as through events such as The ASN Awards , while fostering greater understanding connection within our global community .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a local, I’d love to show my best friend the best of Orlando. Here’s a week-long itinerary that would give them a taste of the city’s vibrant culture, exciting attractions, and hidden gems:

Day 1: Arrival and Introduction to Orlando

Pick up my friend from the airport and head to The Coop, a fried chicken lovers’ paradise, for lunch.
After lunch, we’d visit the iconic Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, where we could take a stroll around the lake, rent swan-shaped paddle boats, and enjoy the scenic views.
In the evening, we’d head to Thornton Park, a charming neighborhood with a variety of restaurants and bars. We’d grab dinner at The Stubborn Mule, known for its creative cocktails and delicious gastropub fare.

We’d spend the day at Universal Orlando Resort, exploring The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, riding thrilling attractions like The Incredible Hulk Coaster, and experiencing the excitement of Universal Studios Florida.
After a fun-filled day at the park, we’d head to CityWalk for dinner and drinks. We might grab dinner at The Cowfish or Vito’s Chop House.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I’d like to thank my team at ASN Lifestyle Magazine. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for our mission have been instrumental in our success. I’m grateful to work alongside such a talented and committed group of individuals.

I’d also like to recognize the alternative lifestyle community as a whole. Their stories, experiences, and resilience have inspired me to create a platform that showcases their voices and perspectives. It’s an honor to serve this community, and I’m humbled by the trust they’ve placed in us.

In particular, I’d like to thank some of the pioneers and advocates who have paved the way for the alternative lifestyle community. Individuals like Larry Flynt, Hugh Hefner, and Annie Sprinkle have been instrumental in promoting freedom of expression, sexual liberation, and body positivity.

I’d also like to acknowledge some of the organizations that have supported us along the way, such as the Free Speech Coalition, the Adult Entertainment Industry’s trade association, and the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom.

In terms of books, I’d recommend “The Erotic Mind” by Jack Morin, which explores the psychology of human sexuality and desire. I’d also recommend “The Ethical Slut” by Dossie Easton and Janet W. Hardy, which provides guidance on polyamory, non-monogamy, and alternative relationships.

Lastly, I’d like to thank my family and friends who have supported me throughout my journey. Their love, encouragement, and understanding have meant the world to me.

Overall, I believe that success is not just about individual achievement but also about recognizing the contributions of others who have helped shape our story. By acknowledging these individuals and organizations today we hope it inspires future generations within the Adult Entertainment Industry
