We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michael, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My process was we as a people don’t own anything . I wanted to be able to provide for my kids kids kids.
I wanted to be able to break a generational curse and also inspire people with my gifts.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I was always in aww about people’s creativity. How people’s mines worked. I fell in love with cinema and Rap bars , so naturally I was glued to the things that those to forms of art brought.
I never knew I would be writing and producing my own material.
My style is different because of how I learned to place my gift in my art.
I have my own flow that people can identify.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My friends ? Ok here’s my list
1. Roscoe’s
2. Soul food spot
3. Venice beach / Santa Monica pier
4. The Nile bar
5. Baldwinhills theater

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My S/O goes to Tuffcrowd that’s my company the people that have been with me for over 12 years dedicating to ere time to the art . Blood sweat tears in doin what we do it has not been easy.
And of course my mother she’s the main reason I started rapping which lead me to what is do now. She was my motivation and she still is !
