We had the good fortune of connecting with Michele Ayache and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michele, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I want to be remembered as the one who pressed on despite the cards they were dealt. With a life filled with many years of anxiety and depression starting my own business as a creative was the only way for me to create a light in a “too dim” world.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business isn’t for everyone. We offer luxury services for kid’s birthday parties, quinces, sweet sixteens, weddings, and so much more. I started off with just balloons. Believe me I had no idea what I was doing! I taught myself from the ground up and I still wish I would’ve learned by taking a class. I am a mom of 5 (two sets of twins to be exact) and I could never afford it. I knew then that if it was something I really wanted I would need to figure it out. It definitely hasn’t been easy. I have experienced many trials like coordinating a wedding when they ran out of food, balloons popping in my face for my very first install, backdrops tipping over on my first styled shoot, vinyl not sticking on a backdrop, experienced vendors bullying me, vendors not showing up when they needed to, etc! If none of this happened though I wouldn’t have the skills to prevent any of these things from happening again. I’ve learned techniques to give you balloons and backdrops in their best state and today in business I’m recognized for my quality! I am constantly learning and evolving and I’ve also developed a love for the new vendors I’ve found that have been more than helpful

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend actually does live in Montana and I would definitely take her to the beach of course and I would take her to the flower market and show her everything I know about flowers now since I’ve been able to add this skill to my collection of gifts. That and we’re both obsessed with flowers. Not to mention I would probably have some sort of gathering where I hired my favorite vendors. There’s nothing like a group of vendors getting together and making magic happen in my opinion and I know my bestie would agree

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Along my journey there is a long list of organizations and individuals that have helped me along the way but one that stands out to me the most is Maria from Deelish events. She could spend hours of her time to make sure I understood her language because she is exactly where I want to be. She would go out of her way to help me customize my own proposal template to attract more of my target audience. She is the true definition of community over competition and I could never repay her!
