We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Rosales and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, “The barrier to success is not something which exists in the real world; it is composed purely and simply of doubts about ability”. I truly believe that the only thing holding us back from achieving success is self-doubt. If we believe we are incapable of accomplishing our goals we are manifesting failure. To persevere and never give up. I know the contribution and impact provided to the community and being involved. If you ask me today, how do you do it and always keep going? I will always answer with, being a first-generation Hispanic female that opened up a brokerage firm within an industry that many see as a male-dominated one. There will always be people who aren’t used to seeing a female Hispanic running such business especially at the age of 26 now. But, I chose to change that and far beyond that, I don’t wait for the opportunities to happen. I create them. I know that it’s up to me to pave the way for further knowledge and excel. To pave the way for anyone else wanting to start up a business in ANY industry. To go after what they are passionate about. If opportunity doesn’t knock you have to go out and build that door. The diversity and or challenges one may face is the true DNA that pushes me further.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My name is Michelle Rosales. I am 26 years old. I am the founder of Rosales Transport Group Inc alongside Rosales Dispatching Services Inc. Prior to launching my brokerage firm in the logistics and transportation sector. From working my first job at the age of fifteen working in the labor force. Then land corporate positions in the financial and insurance sectors while climbing the corporate ladder. I always knew I was born to lead and the true passion to lead was only going to begin once I started my own thing. I have always optimized for learning versus staying in comfort and just “settling”. To become a supply chain and logistics analyst pushed me to launch my business.

Rosales Group Inc and Rosales Dispatching Services Inc

The path of an entrepreneur is not always easy. As the owner of a startup self-funded business. It’s like walking aimlessly in a desert without a map. Being an entrepreneur at such a young age in an industry that’s often viewed as a male-dominated one many times you don’t get taken seriously. As well as being so young leading in such an industry. Nevertheless, I know that this is the product of all the diversity I’ve gone through, to not give up and work hard towards my goals.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
LA is not just a foodie heaven but also has the best scenic adventures to offer. I would definitely take them to Toca Madera for some great Mexican food with amazing cocktails they have to offer. For scenic adventures not only is there amazing rooftops in DTLA for the best views but also Malibu that has a winery with gorgeous views.
