Meet Morgan Matthews | Actress & Holistic Health Guide

We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgan Matthews and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Morgan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I moved to LA for acting back in 2011, I did what a lot of people in this industry do to get by, I started waiting tables. It made sense at the time: I could keep my days open for auditions and still earn enough to survive in one of the most expensive cities in the country. But after 8 years, my body, mind, and spirit were drained. I knew I wanted to spend my time doing something more meaningful, something that actually made a difference.
I’ve always had a passion for health, especially holistic health. When a friend began sharing online about a wellness device that had transformed their life, something inside me lit up. I had no idea where it would lead, but I felt called to lean in. It was a chance to not only improve my own health, but to help others who were struggling, too.
Fast forward four years, and I’ve been able to support countless families, work from home, stay available for auditions/bookings and create the flexibility and freedom I’ve always dreamed of. More importantly, I feel like I’m finally living out a big part of my purpose. I always felt God was leading me to something bigger. I’m glad I trusted and took the leap.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is centered around holistic health and freedom. I help people transform their lives starting with one of the most foundational things we all need, water. I share about a medical-grade water technology that has completely changed my health and the health of countless families I’ve worked with. What sets me apart is that this is more than a business to me, it’s a mission. I don’t just focus on the physical side of wellness, but also on helping people create the freedom, flexibility and mindset that allows them to live life on their terms.
Getting here wasn’t easy. When I started, I had no background in business or sales. I had a lot of limiting beliefs and money scarcity I had to overcome. But I had passion, curiosity and a willingness to learn. There were plenty of times I doubted myself, but each challenge pushed me to grow. I leaned into mentorship, educated myself in financial literacy and sales. I never gave up on the vision of creating a better future for myself and for others.
Four years later, I’m proud that I’ve been able to help so many families take control of their health, while also building a business that gives me the freedom to pursue my acting career and still be fully present for the things that matter most.
The biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way are that growth comes through discomfort, consistency is everything and when you align your work with your purpose, opportunities open up in ways you could never imagine.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is this: I’m proof that you don’t have to settle for burnout, debt or a life that doesn’t fulfill you. With the right tools, faith and belief in yourself, you can create health, freedom, and purpose all at once. That’s the story I’m living, and it’s the story I love helping others step into as well.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
LA is filled with so many hidden gems! I’d definitely spend a day in Malibu, starting with breakfast and coffee at Ollo, then heading to Zuma Beach, my favorite spot, followed by a hike up to Point Dume and exploring the tide pools.
Another day would be all about Aroma Café in Toluca Lake, one of my favorite cozy spots that feels so local. I used to go there after acting class a lot, so it’s very nostalgic for me. Afterwards, we’d stroll through the boutiques in Studio City and end the evening watching the sunset at Griffith Observatory.
I also love Topanga Canyon! Inn of the Seventh Ray is like walking into a fairy tale, with all the trees, twinkling lights, and eclectic shops around…definitely worth exploring. LA really has so many “cities within the city,” each with its own vibe and energy.
I lived in Burbank for many years so it holds a special place in my heart. Stough Canyon and Wildwood are great hikes, and I almost always saw 1-2 deers wandering through. It’s a peaceful place.
While I’m not vegan anymore, I was for many years, and LA has some of the best plant-based spots hands down. A few favorites I’d recommend are Real Food Daily, Gracias Madre, and Pure Vita, all worth checking out. I love food, and exploring the culinary scene is such a big part of the LA experience!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God first and foremost. Without Him I wouldn’t be here. And my amazing Mom who got me through so many down days in life and encouraged me to keep going, and before I knew it, 14 years had gone by and I’m still here building my dream life. Thank you Mama!
