Meet MOTISA | Award-Winning Singer, DJ & Founder of MOTISA Entertainment

We had the good fortune of connecting with MOTISA and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi MOTISA, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
MOTISA Entertainment was born from my personal journey as a singer, dancer, DJ, and fire performer. Over the years, I explored every side of live entertainment, met incredible artists, and saw the power of combining these experiences to create unforgettable shows. That’s why I founded MOTISA Entertainment—a company that brings it all together under one roof.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is a fusion of cultures, resilience, and raw emotion. I’ve been a singer since the age of six, but moving to the U.S. alone pushed me to grow beyond that and build my life and career from the ground up. Along the way, I became not only a singer but also a dancer, DJ, and even a fire performer—constantly expanding my artistry despite every challenge. It wasn’t easy, but those struggles shaped both me and my brand. Through my art, I want to remind people that you don’t have to wait for perfect conditions to succeed—you can create your own path, no matter where you start, as well as you need to be flexible enough to be able to adjust for the current industry/market demands. It’s always a game of finding balance and a perfect moment.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them to Manhattan beach to chill out in the sun, maybe grab branch at the Bluestone lane in downtown Manhattan beach – this location offers great brunch and of course delicious coffee. I would take them to el Sombrero for dinner – hands down one of the best Mexican food I’ve tried.
I’d also take them on a hike to the Griffith park and for drinks, dinner and the view to Casa Madera and Castaway (their specialty cocktails at the Green Room are a true piece of art).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to all the passionate creatives and hardworking dreamers in LA who wake up every day ready to build, grow, and hustle for their vision. It’s the energy of this city and the people in it that constantly inspire me to keep pushing forward. And most importantly, to my mom, who taught me to be strong, independent, and never settle for less than I deserve.
