Hi Myron, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is important to success and personal fulfillment. I’ve sought risk and embraced risk in my career and personal development & endeavors.

From job changes, state to state moves, and ultimately decisions to leave corporate America and pursue other equally fulfilling challenges.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Author of 3 novels and four other books, I write political-social thrillers, and story collections that include short stories, fantasy, and more. I own and publish a free monthly digital magazine that features established and novice writers, journalists, poets, and bloggers. Finally, I blog at Deardean.com & medium.com where I write about current events.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
1. Old Sacramento for history, train museum, river queen lunch on Sacramento River, then into midtown for dinner and music.

We’re close enough to Lake Tahoe-weather allowing, and Napa & Sonoma valleys.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My daughter Leah who inspire me to do better, keep going, and remember who’s reading what I write. And Eliann my wife who carves space for me to give my all, and who gives me the encouragement I need to fuel my work.
