We had the good fortune of connecting with Naani Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Naani, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
The most difficult decision I ever had to make, was leaving my hometown and moving 700+ miles away, to be in Atlanta and give my acting career a real chance to thrive! It’s hard to be so far away from my family and everything I know.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I got where I am today, by being optimistic. I used to be very skeptical and stagnant, for a while. Eventually you get tired of living the same life, year after year! Nothing ever comes easy, but knowing I worked hard, always makes the rewards more enjoyable. I overcome most challenges with prayer and reflection. Always keeping in mind where I came from, really keeps me grounded. I’ve learned a TON along the way. My acting background comes from doing theatre plays. So, I had to start all the way over and learn how film sets work!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came from out of town to visit me, I would probably take them to a house party, which is what I typically do. Atlanta is the home of many celebs. I’ve taken out of town friends to Kai Cenat’s house, Lil Boosie’s house, etc. You can never go wrong with a house party! If we decided to go out to eat, I’d pick one of my favorite Haitian spots. I like a spot called “JoJo Fritay” a LOT. It’s not fancy, but the food is authentic and it’s clean and normally quiet!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My high school, Urban Promise Academy, located in Wilmington, DE! I owe my success to the love and dedication, that was shown to me there.
