We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalia, how do you think about risk?
I wouldn’t call myself a ‘risk taker’ but on reflection, having made three very major moves across the world, perhaps I am wrong? I try to not dwell too much on ‘risk.’ I prefer to focus on the outcome I want to achieve and the journey to reach it.

It’s very easy to allow doubts to hinder one’s progress, nonetheless I truly believe that what is meant for you will happen and it’s important to trust yourself, your intuition and allow it to guide you to success. Once you build that muscle, taking risks is much easier!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Freedom LA is a boutique model agency that strives to bring something new, fresh, and unexpected to the LA market. Unlike many of the other talent management agencies in Los Angeles, we look to represent a more varied and creative range of talent. As LA has grown more importance and relevance within the global fashion and luxury industry, Freedom LA has been instrumental in bringing a higher calibre of talent to the market to satisfy the needs of our clients, in what is now the most important commercial fashion market in the USA.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Firstly, we would hit up Solstice Canyon for a beautiful sunrise hike. After hiking, we would need to then grab a coffee at Cafe Luxxe on the iconic Pacific Coast Highway, picking up our boards and heading to many of the beaches in Malibu for a quick surf.

This would be followed with a delicious lunch at Malibu Farm on the pier and without a doubt, a trip to the Erewhon in Pacific Palisades.

To round out the day, dinner would be at either Lucky’s or The Golden Bull – both in Malibu – for the perfectly seasoned steak and a martini.
