We had the good fortune of connecting with Nataly Santos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nataly, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Community. Community has always been my biggest driver in business since I started my entrepreneur journey in 2013. As an introvert myself, I always found it hard to connect with people who are not on the same path as me. Most entrepreneurs feel alone in business since we don’t have co workers yet alone being an entrepreneur on a spiritual path. My mission has always been to help people, connect people and offer support in any way I can. I want my community to feel at home with Magic Market, I want Magic Market to give people a space free of judgement, a space to grow their business and connect with other souls whom are on the same path. The sooner we realize we can’t and shouldn’t do things alone, the more we expand.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Omgoodness, where do I start? My business journey began in 2013 and wow did I learn A LOT! My 20s was all about trial and error but I never gave up. I have always been a creative, imaginative and driven person. I knew having a typical career was not the route I wanted to take. I was willing to take risks in order to do what I love. All of my businesses have come from a place of love and passion. I never wanted to spend my time doing what I don’t love so I began with a Party Princess company in 2013 and sold it in 2020. I then converted my princess venue into a creative space for entrepreneurs . In between that, I started a network group for women in business with a friend, I helped other people start, grow and brand their businesses and lots more. In 2018 my “official” awakening happened. I always felt deeply intuitive. As a teenager I found myself staring at windows of metaphysical stores and felt so drawn to the craft. But in 2018 was the year that I went head first into energy work and the occult. My black cat was really the one who catapulted me into this journey, it’s an interesting journey! I began to change my life, I felt free, and had a new zest for life. I got certified in 2020 as a Reiki Master, learned candle magic, how to rewire our subconscious mind and co create with the universe to manifest my dream life. I wanted to help people do the same. Fast forward to 2021, I started an astrology candle side hustle and began sharing my spiritual journey online. At the time, there were minimal places for people who practice witch craft, energy work, spirituality etc. to come together to connect and sell their products without judgement. This is how Magic Market was born. Magic Market began as a small market of 20 vendors at my creative studio. I kept running into micro issues in the parking lot and looking back, it was definitely the universe nudging me to move my markets. I distinctively remember a reading I had and the message was ” You are meant to move your markets to grow!” I fought it because I was comfortable at my space. I then reached out to my favorite venue in Los Angeles, Heritage Square Museum and instantly the coordinator and I connected. We were both so happy to see what Magic Market could do. I moved the market from my studio to a large outdoor venue with beautiful victorian homes and Magic Market grew to a point I could have NEVER imagined! If I could give advice to anyone reading this, please know that your wildest dreams can come true. It requires work and dedication. You will fail repeatedly but the secret is to never give up because the universe rewards those who never give up.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a very simple person who lives in my own fantasyland. So this is an interesting question to answer since what I do is based off the stuff I love like eating vegan food, coffee runs, antique shopping, visiting old houses and grabbing a beer. My favorite places are in LA and Disneyland. I would recommend eating at Sage Vegan Bistro and ordering Buffalo cauliflower, potato and broccoli raviolis and pairing it with a beer. If you have never had the Sage ravioli’s you’re missing out! My favorite coffee spot is WoodCat in Echo Park. The best vegan Ice cream is from Creamo in Silverlake. The BEST Mexican food from Cena Vegan. I love visiting Caroll Ave in Angelino Heights. It’s a street filled with historical Victorian homes. You can find the charmed house and thriller house. You must visit Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles and take a tour of their homes. Then there’s the obvious like beaches and mountains. There’s lots to do in LA!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My deepest gratitude to my people. My mother, my boyfriend. my family, friends, my cat & the community. I would not be where I am today without my biggest support. You continue to show up for me, you continue to hold space for me and you continue to shower me with so much love. Anything I need, you’re there within a snap of a finger and I recognize that I am insanely lucky to have the support that I do. You know who you are, I love you so much!
