We had the good fortune of connecting with Nic B and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nic, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I think one must have leadership qualities, commitment, passion, and consistency to be a business owner. It’s not an easy task but, I feel I’ve always had the skillset to start my own business. I became my own walking build board. I gave people what they needed by having what they wanted. As a successful person in the fitness industry you have to not only play the part. You have to look the part and be great at whatever you’re selling. Whether it’s motivation, inspiration, a workout program etc. You must know how to execute that plan to make profit. As a business owner you also need to know that, there will be moments of failure and frustration. Be sure to be international about the planning process of your business. How much you intent to make a month, the clients you want to attract, how often you want to work so that you will have more freedom to enjoy the lifestyle you’re creating for yourself. This is all important. Also, trust your process. Success does not happen overnight.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My story is simple. I am a Personal Trainer & Confidence Coach based out of Los Angeles Ca. I have been personal training for 14years. What I am most proud of is the fact that I’ve always remained authentic and relatable to my audience and that’s how I became successful. What I am most proud of is because of Authenticity I was able to travel and host fitness tours throughout the United States to meet people who support me on social media. There’s no better feeling than creating a business where you inspire and motivate others to Become their best selves. The lesson that I’ve learned is to Show Up as YOU. And the Support will come. Continue to have fun with what you’re doing and it’ll never get boring. Keep creating.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have an adventurous personality there’s not much planning when it comes to my personal life and hanging out with my besties. So, I probably wouldn’t have an itinerary. I am a go-with the flow type. But, if I had to make a short itinerary it would probably be like this….
Morning Workout at Baldwin Hills Scenic overlook
Lunch at Simply Wholesome
A Nap
Dinner can be cooked at home
That’s all I got. Bestie or not I can’t see myself hanging out with anyone for a whole week. Plus my besties are all from my city. Lol

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout anyone that has supported me throughout the 14years of my Personal Training career. My Clients who have been with me for years, anyone who has shown up for a Bootcamp, Fitness Trip, Retreat, any positive comments left on a post, a Dm of encouragement, I am truly grateful for each and every one of you.
