Meet Nick Anthony | Content Creator, Photographer, & Videographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nick Anthony and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nick, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Theres a lot that plays into the success of my brand. The most important factor behind all of my success is my determination and drive. When i want something, i’m going to make sure i get it even if it seems to be the impossible. My drive for constantly wanting to work and put my creative abilities to its best use is what fuels me and my success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Growing up I always felt like the outcast or that there was something different about me. Something I couldn’t necessarily put my finger on that made me feel different from those that I surround myself with. I was a natural born creative and have strived for anything within the arts whether it be film, acting, dance, or even photography. I grew up in a town where sports were most people main focuses. As for me, I loved cameras, storytelling, putting myself out there because I’ve always had a true sense of who i am as a person and creative. Alongside my creative talents have brought many achievements and opportunities im forever grateful for. I work for the film studios and am so excited to see what is to come next within our industry. While being a content creator, I’ve been able to attend Red Carpet Events, Brand Events, and even more. Im most proud of being able to attend BJ Novak’s red carpet premiere for his debut film “Vengeance” and Rihanna’s SavageXFenty Vol. 4 Showcase. Many hardships came along the way in between these amazing opportunities, and what kept me on track was my drive and determination for my craft. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for my fiery passion for what I do and wanting to do more than what expected from me. Mental health plays an important part in staying focused on your craft and what you as the creative are trying to put out into the world. Throughout my journey, the constant mental battle of “Am I good enough?”, “Am I doing the right thing?”, “Maybe what they’re saying is true.”, and having to remind myself of why I started what im doing and why it brings me joy has been a continuous cycle. All in all, taking care of your mental health is the most important factor into being able to sustain a business within the arts. If your not on your best A game its going to show in your work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Visiting the city has a plethora of restaurants, activities, and tourists attractions. My favorite spots to usually go out to are Hollywood Blvd for shopping or filming, Melrose Ave for shopping, any of the Los Angeles Beaches, or even just driving around the city exploring and taking in the scenery. Roadside tacos in Studio City has to be by far my favorite spot to go with friends and enjoy a night out. For nightlife, West Hollywood is a very prominent scene for LGBTQ+ individuals and is a great place to go for finding others within the community. If tourist attractions are more your gig, I would recommend any of our museums or the observatory.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give credit to all the people throughout elementary school, middle school, etc. for always letting me know the talent that i hold and what i could do with it. I want to give even more credit to my family for always pushing me and always being my biggest supporters. My mom has been my biggest cheerleader for all things i do in my life and she is one hundred percent my main fuel to all of this. On another note, the movie franchise “Saw”, plays an enormous factor in my love for film, cameras, and telling your own story visually.
