We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikki Olmos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nikki, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I feel I am in the business of being my best intentional self through any avenue of exchange which in turn reverberates back to the world in a positive light. I am eternally grateful for my many passions and mentors that have helped me fine tune my crafts to the point of income while impacting the lives of many.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I hold myself at a highly trained professional level in the hair world executing organic coloring techniques, styles and cutting services. I am often referred to as a hair angel for my natural ability to elevate the narrative through a creative experience combined with my own flavor of how I choose to show up. I provide my services with quality hair care such as Modern Nature (MONAT) the number one premium haircare brand in the world. This stream of haircare has really inspired my passion on overall scalp and hair health. I am most excited about connecting with my clients on how I can transform their hair with a lasting positive impact. It has been a long journey to obtain this role of where I am at today and one that I started at a very young age. I’ve been so fortunate to learn from some of the best color specialists and educational mentors in the Beverly Hills, OC area. I am so proud of myself for overcoming the challenges of fear and negative energy. I am thankful to have integrated sound therapy into my life practice as another extension of my passion and what I have to offer. The biggest lesson I have learned is to “BE YOU”. I am always happy to connect with those interested in my services.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love connecting with my best friends. If one or any of them came to visit me in the area I would show them the best time ever, which includes an itinerary as such:

Monday – a blow out/style by me if they wanted, mellow settling in kind of day, with music and self care activities, fun games at my place.

Tuesday – day at the beach because it’s not crowded and I can show them all the local spots

Wednesday – a great day to explore rodeo, walk around the Beverly Hills area, check out amazing thrift stores and search for sisterz closet fashion. Drive around to see different sights, explore nature amongst the hills. Visit Big Heart Ranch in Malibu.

Thursday – show up for Taj’s kundalini yoga class at Rama they have a 60” gong that is huge and strong that you can feel the vibrations in your body. “Properly played gong is a total gift of the gods, it’s putting heaven right on Earth.” The kundalini poses are even amazing dance poses.

Friday – check out some local venues to see if there are any cool bands that are playing. I recently enjoyed my time watching my cousin Alexa Villa perform at The Peppermint Club

Saturday – A wonderful day to go hiking at the Red Rock Canyon Topanga hike on native lands and play sound instruments in the cave there. Afterward, it is magical to go to Inn of the Seventh Ray, an amazing restaurant found in nature.

Sunday – Malibu sunset soundbath overlooking the ocean with Ana NeTanel and high vibe tribe.
