Hi Nikkole, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always been passionate about music, and that passion really began to take shape in my early years. For me, music is a powerful way to express emotions and share experiences. I remember feeling a deep connection to melodies and lyrics that resonated with my own feelings, and I wanted to create that same impact for others.

Growing up, I was fortunate to be surrounded by a vibrant musical culture—my family and community celebrated music in various forms. This environment nurtured my love for it and inspired me to explore my own creativity. I found joy in crafting unique sounds and telling stories through my music, which felt like a true reflection of who I am.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is a reflection of my journey, deeply rooted in passion and perseverance. What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to creating music that resonates on a personal level. I believe that every note and lyric carries a piece of my story, and I strive to connect with others through that authenticity.

I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve never stopped creating music, even when faced with challenges. Achieving success on the Billboard charts was a significant milestone for me, but it’s the dedication to my craft that truly defines my journey. Each step I took—whether it was honing my skills, collaborating with talented artists, or performing live—has contributed to where I am today.

The path hasn’t always been easy. I faced obstacles, including self-doubt and the competitive nature of the music industry. However, I learned to embrace those challenges as opportunities for growth. Surrounding myself with supportive people kept me motivated during tough times.

Throughout this journey, I’ve learned valuable lessons about resilience, the importance of staying true to myself, and the power of community. I want the world to know that my brand is built on authenticity and a relentless passion for music. My story is one of perseverance, and I hope to inspire others to chase their dreams, no matter the obstacles they face.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Los Angeles and Santa Monica for a week, I would curate an unforgettable itinerary filled with exciting activities and delicious dining. We’d start our mornings with a stroll along the Santa Monica Pier, soaking in the ocean breeze and vibrant atmosphere. For lunch, we’d indulge in a meal at my favorite restaurant, Nobu in Malibu, enjoying the stunning ocean views and exquisite cuisine.

In the afternoons, we’d explore the beaches, lounging in the sun and taking a dip in the Pacific. One day, we’d hike up to the Griffith Observatory for breathtaking views of the city and the iconic Hollywood sign, wrapping up the evening by stargazing through the observatory’s telescopes.

For dinner, I’d take my friend to some local favorites, like a trendy spot in downtown LA or a cozy eatery in Venice Beach. We’d also hit up some lively bars for drinks, experiencing LA’s vibrant nightlife. Throughout the week, we’d visit local art galleries, catch a show at the Hollywood Bowl, and perhaps take a day trip to explore the beautiful coastal towns nearby. This mix of relaxation, adventure, and culinary delights would make for an unforgettable week in Los Angeles!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In the spirit of the Shoutout series, I’d like to dedicate my recognition to two incredibly important figures in my life: my brother, Wallace Hall, and my mom, Glenda Hall. From an early age, they have always believed in me and my dreams, providing unwavering support and encouragement.

Wallace has been my biggest cheerleader, always pushing me to pursue my passions and reminding me of my potential, even during challenging times. His belief in me has fueled my confidence and determination.

My mom, Glenda, has been a constant source of love and inspiration. She instilled in me the importance of following my heart and embracing my creativity. Her encouragement has shaped my journey in music and continues to motivate me every day.

I truly couldn’t have come this far without their support, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done to help me realize my dreams.
