Meet No False Ego

We had the good fortune of connecting with No False Ego and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi No False Ego, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind our success as a band has always been true connection and friendship. Making memories together and enjoying each others’ company is the foundation of our group and deeply impacts the music we make together.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We give the audience an experience we know they would not get anywhere else, because we pour our experiences into our music. We have so much fun playing together, we look at each other, we smile at each other, and naturally people who look like they’re having fun will spread that fun to others as well.

People always tell us we look like we’re having fun playing together, and they’d be right. We have nothing but love for each other, and that love is infectious.

We got to where we are today because there is someone who met us all individually first as side members in other bands, but he saw something special within each of us that he needed to bring us together to form this band.

Over several years, that eventually culminated into No False Ego.

Was it easy? It’s hard to say because we’ve put in so much work into it, but it feels natural because people seem to enjoy our music every time.

We started playing every gig we could get, and consistently posted footage from these vents every time which helped people find us and ask to play for their events. However the hardest part is making content and staying consistent, but even then, it’s hard to call even that difficult when you’re going through the journey with people you love so dearly.

We’ve learned to be confident in our art, because we discovered if we stay true to our art, people will likely enjoy it too.

We want the world to know that there is so much power in being your most authentic self and not having a false ego. We wanna spread the message to the world of loving exactly who you are, and to always be your truest self.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would not be where we are today without the guidance of our dear friend and mentor, Doctah BE. He introduced us and brought us all together, and is the reason we are all in each other’s lives today. His message is one of peace and love, and we try to embody that message through our music.
