We had the good fortune of connecting with Omari Clarke and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Omari, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business wasn’t just about ownership. It was about freedom. I had spent years working with some of the biggest names in music, but I realized I was still building other people’s empires. I wanted to create a system that reflected my own values: innovation, automation, originality, and long-term equity. I knew I had a gift, not just in sound, but in vision.

That vision became Ozone Beats, a platform I built from the ground up to serve independent artists around the world. I saw too many talented creatives getting priced out of quality production, so I flipped the model. I made it my mission to offer industry-level instrumentals at affordable prices so real artists, hungry artists, could have a real shot. Ozone Beats is more than a beat store. It’s a creative sanctuary and a spark for artists to take off.

I’m using Ozone Beats to scout the next generation of talent. I’m always on the lookout for voices with raw potential, unique energy, and a story to tell. For me its Important to reinvest into the creative community that shaped me and empowering the next wave to build something of their own.

If you’re an artist looking to level up, explore the sound at ozonebeats.com. You just might find what you didn’t know you needed.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is called Ozone Beats, it’s a platform built to empower independent artists globally. What sets me apart is that I’ve been on both sides of the industry and worked with every major label In America and som internationally. I’ve engineered for major label artists in elite studios, and I’ve also sat in small home setups with raw talent trying to break through. I saw the gap: high-quality production was often out of reach for the people who needed it most. So I created a system that makes industry-level beats accessible, affordable, and easy to license.

What I’m most proud of is the freedom I’ve created—not just for myself, but for others. I built Ozone Beats so artists can stop chasing producers and start building their catalogs with confidence.

But none of this was easy. I’ve taken losses. I’ve been overlooked, underestimated, and had to rebuild my systems and mindset more than once. Living abroad, managing time zones while scaling a business that all comes with pressure. But I’ve learned that clarity is stronger than motivation, and if your why is deep enough, you’ll find your how.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to move with intention. Every decision in my business now is based on alignment, not just opportunity. I used to chase everything I was producing, mixing, managing, running sessions. Now I focus on creating a platform that benefits people. That’s how you scale and stay sane.

What I want the world to know is this:

I want the world to know that nothing about my journey was accidental. I was not discovered. I was developed. Ozone Beats is the result of discipline, vision, and the refusal to wait for permission. Everything I have built comes from years of being surrounded by talent, listening more than speaking, and sharpening my skills until they were undeniable.

My brand is rooted in independence and powered by innovation. It is not just about selling beats. It is about giving artists access to the quality and tools they deserve, no matter where they are starting from. I created Ozone Beats for the artist with the talent but not the network, the hunger but not the budget, the vision but not the cosign. I was that artist.

At the core, my story is proof that you can create your own lane, build your own platform, and turn passion into power if you are willing to outlast the noise and outwork the doubt. I am not here just to make music. I am here to shift culture and elevate anyone bold enough to bet on themselves.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Monday we’re starting it off right at Runyon Canyon in the morning. Good views, good vibes I like that place. After that, we’re hitting Tacos 1986.

Tuesday Beverly Hills for Erewhon for smoothies because nothing says LA like paying twenty dollars for a drink. Then we’re stopping by my boy’s shop at Millie Point Two 333 N. Canon Dr

Wednesday we’ll switch it up and drive out to Palos Verdes for some chill nature vibes and coastal views. After we reset, we’re heading to Chinchikurin in Little Tokyo the okonomiyaki there is next level.

Thursday thrifting on Melrose at 2nd Street and Wasteland. You’ll find something nice. Then at night we’ll probably hit a private event something exclusive,

Friday Dinner at Nobu then we can chill at a mansion party to close the night right for good views and networking.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My father is the best producer to ever come out of North Carolina. He taught me how to play piano when I was a kid and gave me my 1st Production Software FL Studio, that was the foundation. From there, I picked up guitar and drums. In his circle I always had platinum producers who were always around me. I was absorbing excellence. It was in the air. I was built for this.

My mom toured across Europe performing in theater productions, coming straight out of New York. She’s an incredible vocalist. Her presence is a blessing. But beyond talent, it was her belief in me that shifted everything. She was the one who pushed me to make the jump to New York the move that ultimately launched my career in music. That move changed everything.
