Meet Oxana Antonenko | CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Oxana Antonenko and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Oxana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
That’s a very good question. Every business owner had this thought, and not even one, more than couple for sure, before starting the business. And the reason I said more than couple because not always business you start become a successful one. Then your next thought processes become even longer. 😁 you try to think about every little detail and learn from your previous mistakes. But when you start your business, it’s like a new baby and every single child is different. Same with the business ideas. Our thought before we started this business was, what product can we create that will make gift shopping easy, one stop deal. Every time you’re looking for a gift you’re always debating between should I buy sweets/cake or should you buy flowers?
So we came up with this product, where we combine Chocolate covered strawberries, French macaroons, and flowers in one arrangement
I love to call it. Piece of art work. 😁
And 7 years later, we have over 100 of arrangements available on our website for the same-day delivery. Different options, different sets, different occasions

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart as a business owner is my commitment to creating memorable, high-quality gourmet gifts that truly connect with people. At Gourmet Gift 4U, we focus on attention to detail, personalized touches, and a curated selection of premium items to ensure every gift feels thoughtful and meaningful. This passion for excellence is what I’m most proud of and excited about—it’s more than just a business; it’s about making people feel special and valued.
My journey to where I am today wasn’t easy, but it was incredibly rewarding. It started with a vision and a lot of determination. I faced challenges like navigating the complexities of starting a business, building a brand from scratch, and learning the ins and outs of the industry. But each obstacle taught me something valuable and pushed me to grow, both personally and professionally.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come and am excited about the future of Gourmet Gift 4U. I want to continue innovating, expanding, and bringing joy to customers through thoughtful gifting. This journey has been a blend of hard work, resilience, and an unwavering belief in my vision.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Los Angeles I’d create an unforgettable itinerary that showcases the city’s diverse experiences, vibrant culture, and iconic spots.
We’d kick things off with brunch at Republique, enjoying their incredible pastries and creative dishes. Afterward, we’d visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and take photos by the famous Urban Light installation. For dinner, I’d take them to Bestia in the Arts District for some phenomenal Italian food, followed by drinks at The Bungalow in Santa Monica for a quintessential LA vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Gourmet Gift 4U is a family business. So the biggest shoot out goes to the member of our team, biggest supporter, hard working woman – my mom Irina.
