Hi P.O.C. Proof of Consciousness, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success thus far with both REVIVE RADIO and REVIVE MEDIA is constantly running towards my fears. Running towards my fears helps me to understand there is light at the end of every tunnel. Running towards my fears helps me to “execute over all excuses”. I have gained a conscious awareness that running towards my fears has helped me to get back up every time I was told no every time a door was slammed in front of me or a chair was pulled from up under me. Being fearless has helped me to become self-taught, and self-sustainable in an industry where most will give up. Continuously showing up and being relentless for people’s voices to be heard and stories to be told is what truly keeps REVIVE ALIVE. Running towards my fears has become such a motto for me and my brand I’ve started selling the quoted phrase as part of REVIVE RADIO merchandise.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
REVIVE Radio is a platform that demonstrates the power of communication in our communities by simply meeting people where they are and sparking conscious conversations. REVIVE is a living brand that restores and maintains consciousness in all communities with the power of words and wisdom within mass communication. REVIVE is a thriving brand whose goal is to fortify communities, by cultivating conscious conversation.

REVIVE Media is an international media platform for every community and every culture which was founded by REVIVE Radio. REVIVE Media reports on community news, trends, style, politics, pop culture, music, sports, art, and the youth with a focus on community engagements, small businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs. REVIVE Media publishes news and opinionated stories with a focus on the African-American perspective. REVIVE Media reaches over 15,000 unique users per month. In 2017, the company launched an online broadcasting platform; in 2017, it became a joint-venture subsidiary of REVIVE Radio. REVIVE Media is passionate about visuals and storytelling specializing in crafting honest, emotional stories for community members, nonprofits, businesses, artists and entrepreneurs, for editorial publications.

One thing I want the world to know about my brand is that REVIVE Radio & Media is an outlet to reach and restore the minds of the people, creating stimulating conversations, and broadcast positivity and unity within mass media communication. Giving a platform for the voiceless to be heard and their stories to be told.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came into the city we would spend most of our time outside hiking and doing water activities.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I honestly want to just take the time to shout out my team. Big shout out to Tab M0ney, Harmony The Goddess, and Exhibit A. These three women have been riding with me, and I truly trust and believe they will ride with me until the wheels fall off. Harmony has always been there since day one, since the very first episode. Good days, bad days she always shows up ready to work. She helps me to stay in good spirits. Harmony is ready to step into any role to make sure that REVIVE is ALIVE. Tab M0ney is my blood sister as well as my business partner. She has invested her time and energy into helping with the business side of things to keep everything running smoothly. She is also has a segment on REVIVE Radio entitled “Tab M0ney Habits”. Exhibit A does all of the visuals for the brand such as flyers, photography, and most videography. She has truly stepped up to help with remote live broadcasting and helping with branding REVIVE media as an entity. Also big shout out to my mom for stepping up when I asked.
