Meet Pamela Hill | Actress and Author

We had the good fortune of connecting with Pamela Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pamela, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. My upbringing and values I garnered in my life are the catalyst for my book I just wrote and published “The Next Contestant is…”! It’s available on Amazon in Paperback and Kindle. I’ve been fortunate to have in my life very loving and supportive parents! They instilled in me confidence, going for my dreams and the power of positive thinking. My dad said to me growing up…”Know enough to get on a game show”. Well…that seed was planted early. My story is about my many game show experiences, and how I implemented my life lessons to not only get me to the game show stage, but how I use these qualities in my everyday life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m an actress and writer. I believe that you should give 110% to every project, be a team player and that building relationships is key to longevity in a career. My positive attitude and determination guides me in navigating my journey. I believe what also sets me apart is my spiritual way of looking at life and and my enthusiasm.

I’m proud of Four Scorpio Productions. That’s the film company my husband William and I started. We created our show “That Darn Girlfriend”. Our kitschy comedy series, along with our other projects is on our YouTube channel — https://www.youtube.com/@fourscorpio Our web series is a homage to the late 1960s and early 1970s. We’re in our third season and have over 3,900 subscribers! In creating projects from my heart…it makes me proud and feels good…if I uplifted other people and inspired them.

It’s exciting to get out of your comfort zone and follow and live your dreams! My book “The Next Contestant is…was in the works for over 10 years and I’m glad I had the discipline and determination to finish it and publish it. Being in the entertainment industry is not the routine work lifestyle or path for most people. The challenges in this business is persistence and knowing your career is a journey that continues to unfold every day. I have the patience and endurance to go step-by-step on my ladder to success. I believe in being kind…not only to yourself but to others. Believe in yourself and your dreams! My motto is (it’s also on my Mini Cooper license plate) “Keep Going For the Stars!”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The California beach experience! Starting with going to the beach in Santa Monica for some fun in the sun! We would then eat at the landmark restaurant Back on the Beach Café. Delicious cuisine with breathtaking views of the Pacific ocean and mountains!

I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my hubby actor/writer/filmmaker William Joseph Hill and to my parents Ida & Donald Malof! Their love and support is limitless…
