We had the good fortune of connecting with Paulina Castro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paulina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
lk
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Since I was a little girl I knew that’s what I wanted to do. Fashion is my passion and it’s part of me. I started my career as a Fashion Designer, co-funding a clothing brand called Reloaded. Even though there were a lot of challenges and learnings, working 24/7, because at the beginning I was doing almost everything, from designing to sales, I loved what I was doing and I was so excited that I was enjoying every single part of the process. I started styling all the runways, lookbooks and campaigns for the brand and that’s how I started focusing on being a fashion stylist.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a beach person so for sure I will take her/him to the beach, a little bit of surfing. Expending all day at the beach and having dinner at Nobu Malibu. Lychee Martini my favorite!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To my parents Jesus Enrique and Beatriz, my biggest supporters!
