We had the good fortune of connecting with Peach Rosemary and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Peach, how do you think about risk?
I love taking risks, especially in film and the art behind it. My projects are becoming that right now. I think for those who have a weird gut feeling like they should, do it, the worst thing is the worst thing you thought of, and that’s the learning curve. I would pray about some of the hardships of making my film, but after praying and praying to the Lord, he found a way for me to create something I never thought could be so life-changing. And, I think that’s the best part of the progress.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My film is the best thing I’m proud of really, I would have never imagined anything like this to happen to me, but we did it and it’s out there and it’s doing great. Professional-wise, my dad has been a huge inspiration to me about being more firm with my work while learning mistakes over time that I can overcome. Same thing with my professional strategies management classes back in high school. I truly believe and always say, if you are ever gonna do something big like this, be sure to be as organized as you can, with your team, you can do it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would love to take my best friends to Big Bear, rent a cabin, get some drinks & snacks, and have everything packed for comfort, and just relax, make a campfire, explore the woods, watch the stars, create, find peace with yourself in nature is the best type. I always try to include nature in my films as much as possible.

I would want to make smores, drink some hot chocolate, and then buy some sandwiches, or whatever they would have down in the city.

Overall, I love DTLA, and visiting over there the more I got into film, getting the appreciation for art over there was such an exciting feeling. I also love Oregon, it’s so beautiful. The best part is riding down the tree street path while the sun goes down and listening to the Peripheral Vision album by Turnover. I cry every single time. It makes me feel like I’m free. If my friends started crying, I would know that they were struggling and got it out. It’s beautiful.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shout-out to all my loved ones, friends, film colleagues, and God.
