Meet PowerFall Project Podcast | Nick Powers & Adam Fallert

We had the good fortune of connecting with PowerFall Project Podcast and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi PowerFall Project Podcast, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
To create something that we wanted to listen to, at the very least we’d entertain ourselves. So much of what we’ve done in the past for projects, clients, colleagues or work has been about please other people’s expectations. With PowerFall Project we get to do something we truly enjoy!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We started the podcast in the middle of the pandemic after relocating away from friends, family and careers to the sun shine in lockdown! What was missing was the water cooler talk at work, the daily drive time radio and the happy hour with friends. We didn’t have any of it. So we created it. We threw a couple of ideas together and said F*ck it, hit record. The hardest, but best part is the constant desire to get better! This project may never be finished and we’re ok with that. Our goals are to improve our skills and learn more. We strive for lighthearted positive impact. With the feel of just hanging out with buddies.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When visiting the area, no trip is complete without a motorcycle ride up the PCH early morning with a rising sun and cool sea breeze, hitting up brunch at Geoffrey’s in Malibu. The way back, the beach & pier in Santa Monica, because you have to. We’d head to the Venice canals for a photo. Dinner would be at the Little Door on 3rd in West Hollywood, food is fantastic, and they treat you like your happiness is the only thing that matters. We would finish the night off with drinks and hysterical laughter at the comedy store, seeing big names hone their craft.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Our show is a mashup of curiosity and comradery. It would not exist if it wasn’t for a few influences we hold in very coveted regard. Curiosity is Joe Rogan and Tim Ferriss both podcasters that approach taking digestible pieces from masters and innovators. We try to consume as much content from these two as possible. Comradery we take inspiration from our Seattle roots with the BJ Shea show and the Men’s Room on 99.9 KISW. These shows exposed us to brotherhood in different interests, allowing yourself to get frustrated and doing something with that energy and of course laughs. Absolute favorite duo of the PowerFall Project is comedians Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura with their podcast 2 Bears, 1 Cave
