Meet Prema Love | Sacred Musician / Vocal Alchemist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Prema Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Prema, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
We are visitors on this planet. We are here for one hundred years at the very most. During that period we must try to do something good, something useful, with our lives. if you contribute to other people’s happiness, you will find the true meaning of life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Over 20 years ago, I gave almost everything I owned away and hit the road hitchhiking or ride sharing to follow a higher calling. I traveled around with the county with my music often not knowing how I would eat or where I would sleep. I had to follow and rely on my intuition, higher calling and guidance. I was always protected and somehow taken care of and everything always worked out. Of course, there were many uncomfortable moments with lots of twists, turns and perceived challenges along the way. I stayed at healing Center’s around the globe and with random people I would meet who would take me in. I didn’t realize at the time, but I was a spiritual seeker looking for deeper meaning in life then I met my teacher, which was the most life-changing experience of my life. They say when the student is ready the teacher appears and that’s exactly what happened for me. My whole directory then shifted. I gained a true sense of purpose and focus in my life and gained the clarity that I was here on earth to spread joy, happiness, consciousness and healing through my music, to bring community together in a sacred way. I have received so much and I want to share the overflow of love, beauty and abundance with the world.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a world traveler so it depends on where we are. Currently I’m in Encinitas, California. I would say I would take them to the Yogananda self realization center to make prayers and meditate. One of my favorite places to stay is the Inn at moonlight beach in encinitas because it’s peaceful and gorgeous. They have an edible garden, altar, and they make you a beautiful flower bath, pot of tea in glass and beautiful vegan picnic basket. We would go for breakfast or lunch at Trilogy sanctuary and all plant-based gluten-free restaurant and community hub in La Jolla. I would take them to whatever Hotsprings were available as I feel the healing waters are so important to connect to the Earth. We would then go to a sound healing/sound bath or a kirtan to where we would chant our hearts out with Community and connect with like hearted souls, who are also doing the Inner work for the planet and in service,
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
