We had the good fortune of connecting with Profit Stopit and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Profit, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am from San Diego California was born in 1994. I grew up struggling with the fam moving from place to place until I hit 18 years old. And decided to rent a house with my older homies we rented that house built an epic studio in my bedroom and the rest is basically history from there the hustle for my music has been none stop grinding.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets my artistry apart from others is my style and stage presence I keep the crowd entertained. I am most excited about this New York trip we got coming up in July KOAT Records is headlining our first festival called Float Fest. I got were I am today with crazy hard work, dedication and a lot of investing into my craft with doing those things your career will be stagnant. I’ve learned to many lessons along my musical journey a few of em are Not everybody is your friend. Watch who you keep in your circle I keep my circle small.!!!!!what I want the world to know about me is, I will be a house hold name across the world I’m just starting small and working my way up keep your eyes and ears open for Profit Stopit & KOAT Records cause we going to crazzzyyy Right now

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s a lot to do in San Diego we are 2 hours away from lakes and oceans. As well as mountains and snow and also deserts it’s never a dull moment I would rent some jet skis on mission bay have a dope lunch on the boardwalk rent and air bnb on the water everything is so close together it’s hard not to have a great time down here.!!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I honestly owe my music career to my two best friends J Macabeezo & DaP do not call him Dap. devoted and persistent is what it is if it wasn’t for those two people I would not be were I am today NO DOUBT.!
