We had the good fortune of connecting with Rabiah Rahman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rabiah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my own law firm because I wanted the freedom to choose the cases I take on and to shape the legal strategy with intention and care. My practice is dedicated to advocating for employees who have experienced sexual harassment, hostile work environments, wage violations under the California Labor Code, or wrongful termination. Many of my clients carry not just the emotional weight of their experiences, but also the physical manifestations of trauma. My role is not only to represent them legally, but to create a space where they feel heard, empowered, and believed. For me, it’s not just about fighting for justice—it’s about making sure they feel safe and supported throughout the process. The legal system can be harsh, and I work hard to make sure my clients are not retraumatized by it.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Rabiah At Law is a law firm dedicated to representing employees in workplace disputes with their employers. My practice is rooted in advocacy, empowerment, and service. I am committed to helping individuals seek justice for the wrongs they’ve experienced, while ensuring they feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the legal process.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned—both personally and professionally—is that kindness carries far greater impact than aggression or hostility. I approach each case with compassion and integrity, and I do not take on matters I do not believe in. While I lead with empathy and respect, I’m also not afraid to stand firm when needed and be assertive when the situation calls for it. My clients and colleagues can expect principled representation grounded in fairness, strength, and humanity.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m based in Ventura but went to college in Los Angeles, so I’ve developed a healthy appreciation for both the ocean breeze and freeway traffic. When I’m in the City, I make the most of it—starting with a good hike. If I’m planning the itinerary, we’re definitely trekking up to the Griffith Observatory. Great views, solid workout, and the occasional squirrel photobomb—it’s a win-win.

I’m also a big fan of the beach, so the agenda will include a sun-soaked day at Zuma Beach, followed by dinner at The Sunset Restaurant.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to the incredible mentors, supporters, and loved ones who have guided and uplifted me throughout my journey. Coming from humble beginnings and being the first professional in my family, I’ve faced challenges that at times felt insurmountable. My path has not always been easy, but I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by people who believed in me even when the road ahead was unclear. It was the wisdom of trusted mentors, the unwavering support of my family, and the encouragement of close friends that made all the difference. I carry their encouragement with me every step of the way, and I’m deeply grateful for the role each of them has played in my story.
